Q. What time is checkout ?

Checkout is by 10 am.

Q. Can I leave a bit later than 10 am ?

Contact Us just before your visit or once you are here, we can then to discuss the posibility of a later checkout.

Q. What time can I get into the cottage ?

Because of the cleaning regime, it takes a lot of time. So we have a checkin time of 4 pm (16:00).

Q. Can I get into the cottage earlier than 4 pm (16:00) ?

If we can let you have access before 4 pm, we will; currently, the post Covid-19 cleaning regime takes a lot of time, so we say 16:00, but it does depend on the situation we find on the day and if the cottage is already clean (if the cottage is clean then you can have early access). If you want to ring me the day before you come, We will have a better idea of the cleaning schedule and be able to let you know the likelyhood.

Q. How can I pay ?

We accept cash (GBP, USD & Euro), Debit Cards, Credit Cards (Not Amex) and Cheques. We prefer Debit Cards and in exceptional circumstances can take a bank transfer.

Q. I booked through Airbnb, Cottages.Com, Expedia, Booking.Com etc... haven't I already Paid ?

Yes some agents (Airbnb & Cottages.Com) take payment from you at time of booking, they then pay us once you get here.

Some do take payment sometimes (Expedia & Hotels.Com) and others (Booking.Com etc…) rairly take payment. Where these payments are taken they are issued to us as virtual credit cards (so we can always check if payment has been taken at the time of booking).

If you booked directly with us, we do not currently ask for a deposit and  don’t expect payment until you arrive.

If you booked online through supercontrol a £20 deposit is taken automaticaly at the time of booking, the balance is then payable once you get here.

Remember it is your responsability to ensure that all bills are paid prior to departure and if you are leaving early please settle up the day before.

Q. Can I bring my pet ?

We allow well behaved pets in all cottages except Old Dairy, we do ask that you clean up after them, that they are kept under control when on-site and that they are not left in the cottage to bark/howl, eat the furniture etc… (Remember you are responsible for your pets at all times and any damages caused by them must be paid for).

Note: We normally limit the numbers of pets to 2 and need to know if the animal is unusual or exotic, we can refuse entry if we feel that your pet is likely to cause us any problems. If in doubt contact us and ask.

Q. Is the Hot Tub and/or Sauna shared ?

The Hot Tub and Sauna are currently shared by 4 cottages, so there is rarely any contention for them ?

Q. Can I book the Hot Tub & Sauna ?

No they are available on a first come first served basis and we do expect our guests to treat the facilities and other guests respectfully.

Q. Can I book the BBQ Hut ?

Yes you can book the BBQ Hut for the afternoon or evening.

Note: We expect our guests to be considerate of others, both in terms of noise and leaving the facilities clean.

If the BBQ Hut is booked we have a couple of portable BBQ’s which may be available.

Q. I have the BBQ Hut booked, what else do I need to do ?

Bring your own charcoal and food/drink, BBQ tools are provided.

Q. Can I drink in the Hot Tub ?
